I had the pleasure of being involved in the Eugene Pro Rodeo last year, and was extremely excited to find out that I get to represent it this year as the queen. I am excited to share 2011 with my best equine friend! My mare’s name is Three Chick Joe or Rulu for short. I have only had her since the summer of 2010 but I am already attached to her! She is such a willing, positive horse and we seem to fit each other well. I would like to thank everyone who has helped me get to where I am and I look forward to traveling and representing the Eugene Pro Rodeo! |

My name is Jessica Shafer and I am excited to be your 2011 Miss Eugene Pro Rodeo Queen. I am the 20 year old daughter of Calvin and Cathy Shafer and have grown up in Eugene, OR my whole life. I graduated from Churchill High School in 2009, and am finishing up my transfer degree at LCC to go to the University of Oregon. During high school I was involved in OHSET and 4-H, and have continued to keep my passion for horses alive during college. In my spare time I enjoy riding on my property, going to shows in the community, taking care of animals, and anything else outdoors! I have always had my fair share of animals to care for.
